After years of serving her community as a passionate natural health enthusiast, Jen Mattson has left behind her organic grocery store in Merrill (WI) to join our team at Organique Clinic as Patient Advocate.
Jen's enthusiasm for NRT and Designed Clinical Nutrition began over five years ago when she came to Ashley as a patient. Her "epiphany" response and understanding of the treatment have driven her beyond the scope of her own business to working closely with what she believes in most - Nutrition Response Testing and the reality that true healthcare begins and ends with what we put in (and on!) our bodies. Believing that the body always heals itself when given the proper nutrients, Jen has educated herself far more than the "typical" health food store manager and has driven home the concept of "Not all that says 'organic' is organic!" With an understanding of food sourcing that far outshines the "average consumer," and a love and understanding for NRT, Jen is Ashley's pick for an assistant who she can trust to deliver top-notch education on healthy food and beverage pairing, delicious recipes, all the while staying within the parameters of the rigorous dietary guidelines required for an effective healing program!
Ms. Mattson's firsthand experience with NRT gives her an understanding and compassion for patients who are just beginning their journeys into a healthy lifestyle. The many hours she logs in her own kitchen — as she researches foods and recipes, and prepares delicious, wholesome foods — empower her to coach patients in diet, menu planning, recipe substitutions, healthy cooking methods, and correct label reading. There are creative ways to get the max nutrients out of foods, and Jen is the person to communicate these skills! We are blessed to have her onboard to ensure that our patients enjoy a positive and effective healing experience. We adore Jen around here, and we know you will too!
